Everyone knows we need a shooting guard, but we aren't in love with any of the SG's available now. We've needed a power forward since Vin Baker was in town, but we aren't in love with any PF's available.
Andrew Bogut takes a beating down low night in and night out, and we NEED to protect him with a viable backup center. We weren't expecting a solid center to slide down to us, but we'll gladly take him. We just hope bringing a 19 year old to the Brew City doesn't backfire.

What is the greatest number of foreign players taken during the first ten rounds of an NBA draft? And, more to the point, what percentage of foreign players selected in the top ten of the past ten drafts have not been complete busts? Do you know?

2001 - Pau Gasol
2002 - Yao Ming, Nikoloz Tskitishvili (bust), Nene
2003 - Darko Milicic (bust)
2006 - Andrea Bargnani, Saer Sene (bust)
2007 - Yi Jianlian (bust)
2008 - Danilo Gallinari
2009 - Ricky Rubio
Rubio was the only non big man picked in the top 10. That's 10 foreign players drafted in the top 10 in the past 10 years. Four have been busts, and the jury is still obviously out on Rubio.
Dirk was drafted #9 in 1998. I believe he was the first and only foreigner I didn't list who was drafted in the top 10.
